The joys of immigration, Part I

This morning, the NY Times ran a story on Dutch flight from the influx of Muslims.
The author of the piece expresses concern, but does not rebuke the Dutch for leaving the newfound diversity. This view is far more charitable than the disparaging remarks used for Americans who fled urban decay in the 1970's.
Three things can be deduced from this sad tale and its coverage by the elite media:
1. Liberals will not fight to keep their liberal countries against "the oppressed" foreigners.

2. The elites think that the size of the US will save us from similar problems.
3. The liberal elites think that their wealth will insulate them. Besides, such demographic shifts in America will entrench their power.

I suggest that the writers for the papers ask the Ochs-Sulzbergers for a raise. $100,000 doesn't go as far as it used to.

While immigrants have brought many benefits to America, perhaps it is time that we look at the costs in terms taxes, cost of living, crime, and national unity.
However, that might just be a bridge to far for even the conservative papers in New York.

Perhaps Judaism and those who hold the Meme, Religion and Group Evolutionary status are, in a complex, confused but all too real way feel the Jewish need for anti-Semitism and a sense of victimhood and persecution to fuel and motivate its Meme in order to make sense of history and life.
